It's all happening...

The two-man team of Hyper racing have been torturing to prepare 6 x karts, 5 of which will be running at Phillip Island's first round of the Vic State series on February 17th. Many of the delays have been due to the banning of fibreglass sidepods by the Superkart Working Group in '06, (effective from '07), for reasons that are still a mystery to most.

Hyper found the process of plastic moulding to be more complex than expected and since their concern is quality and high standards the delays pushed the completion of the racers into the last minute.

A team of Hypers, including #98, will be hitting Winton on Friday 9th February to shake everything down and make sure the new sidepods are effective and safe.

Sorry, no pics yet. But I can tell you, they look sensational.
