Adhesives & Moisture Barriers
A one-part adhesive with high bond strength, rapid cure and a agreeable working time of around 30 minutes with enough curing in 12 hours for the floor sanders to move in. Like many foaming adhesives it’s easily trowelled, with sufficient foaming to fill in small hollows and reduce drum spots. It's also semi-rigid for that extra stability, reducing the likelihood of timber movement. The price is highly competitive and will ensure installers lower overheads. Technical sheet available here.
Vapour Stop is a 2-part epoxy coating designed to operate as a water vapour barrier prior to the installation of timber flooring over concrete slab. Vapour Stop vastly reduces the ability of moisture to migrate through the surface of the slab and compromise the adhesion of the timber flooring.
