StainsStaining is re-emerging as a valid technique to achieve a fully integrated look for a new or old timber flooring, especially when matching decor. However, staining is not a panacea for limitations in the character and appearance of the timber species used on the floor. For example, lighter, more inexpensive timbers such as Victorian Ash or Tasmanian Oak cannot be “stained” to look like a more exotic timber such as Brush Box, Spotted Gum or Jarrah. LAGLER RECOMMEND the TRADITIONAL STAIN range of water based stains
Unlike some “water-based” stains which contain some acrylics, TRADITIONAL STAIN is entirely water-based with zero VOCs. The solution can be thinned with tap water. TRADITIONAL STAIN has excellent working time with a very usable wet-edge, making it very difficult to produce lap-marks. They come in a comprehensive range of colours. The standard list, below, is not complete. Contact LAGLER AUSTRALIA for additional tones or purchase a sample box.
